Functioning
They are made from stainless steel, covered with a paint, the divider sinks gradually to the bottom of the pool as it fills with water. To raise the divider, the water is replaced with air. The continuity of the lane lines on the pool bottom is ensured by a painted line on the divider. When placed upright, the divider has fixing points that enable loating lane makers to be attached.
The mobile partition is put in driving position within 10 mn and its descent does not exceed either lOmn.
Its operation is not dangerous for the bathers and it can be moved up to 1.000 times per year without maintenance.
Use
• The mobile divider can be fitted to new and old pools alike.
• It lets you create a separate area in a pool : it is often used in some 50 m length pools to create there a 25 m competition pool; leaving the rest free for school groups or casual bathers.
• The divider may comprise two independently movable leaves allowing part of the pool to be left at 50m.
• The divider can be used to separate a 25 m pool into a main pool and a padling pool.
• It also lets you create a separate area to be used as a play pool or a protected diving or watersled landing area, thus making the pool safer for bathers.
Financial benefits
They are numerous:
• making several pools of one pool,
• reducing the size of the pool at off peak times, thus reducing the number of lifeguards needed,
• cutting of one part of the pool that you don't want to have to head all year around.
