The free fall height is to be appreciated from the highest point that, in a normal or reasonably foreseeable use of the equipment of game, the child can reach and, from where it can fall on the ground. |

Indications are given by the European standards (general standards NF EN1176/1 and 1177 and standards specific to each game) fixing the requirements of security of games equipments for collective use: the equipment must be installed on flowing or impact absorbing surfaces adapted to the height and the nature of the game and planned so as to absorb the shocks in case of fall.
